Radiofrequency microneedling uses small groups of needles to create heat in the dermis (the thickest layer of skin,) which leaves coagulation zones. These zones are controlled injuries. As the body repairs these areas, it generates more collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Because of this effect, just a single treatment is needed to generate long-lasting results.
