Fat Reduction

There has been an increase recently in non-invasive treatments for the removal of unwanted volume. Injectable deoxycholic acid is FDA-approved for the use of removal of submental fat. It is a naturally occurring molecule in the body, that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Once the fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer store or accumulate fat.  Two sessions are required for this treatment, spaced six to eight weeks apart. The results are permanent.
